Owner Veterinarian

Dr. Cynthia (“Cyndi”) Rachal has a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from LSU and graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. In 2019 Dr. Rachal added Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture to her practice. In 2025 Dr. Rachal finished additional education and training to become an IVCCP (Integrative Veterinary Cancer Care Practitioner). Dr. Rachal loves all aspects of medicine, but being able to provide her patients with chronic diseases a great quality of life is something she is deeply passionate about.

She has been married to her husband, Mike, for over 20 years. They have three children, Marie, Bella and Alex. When not at the clinic, you can find Dr. Rachal typically curled up with a good book or driving around one of her kids to their soccer games. Currently the home circus also includes their black lab, Bailey, chocolate lab mix, Hazel, sphynx cat, Maverick (or as the kids call him "naked chicken") and Maine Coon Anastasia (or "Ana Banana").
